Amazing News: Rubén Sellés Nominated for Manager of the Month!

Hey everyone! I just had to share this incredible news with you all. Our very own Reading manager, Rubén Sellés, has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month for October 2024! 🎉

It’s absolutely fantastic that Rubén is getting the recognition he truly deserves. He’s been pulling out amazing results with a team made up of hungry academy players and free transfers. Imagine achieving all this with an extremely small squad! Not to mention, he’s been handling off-the-field takeover drama and financial issues like a champ.

But, as excited as I am, I can’t help but think about the infamous “Manager of the Month” curse in football. You know, how sometimes after winning the award, things start to go downhill for managers. 😬

Let’s hope that’s not the case for Rubén! With the way he’s been leading the team, I’m confident he can break the curse. He’s shown that even in tough times, he can inspire the team to perform their best.
